Taverna Kerasia stands alone, on a magnificent luminous white shingle beach on Corfu Island’s north east coast that bears the same name.
Taverna Kerasia is the original Corfu Beach Taverna. Among the first of its kind on the island, it is a place people will travel from the other side of the world to get to.
Established in 1973, Taverna Kerasia has been run by the Garnelis family ever since.
Taverna Kerasia sits directly on the beach, offering its guests one of the best natural spectacles on Corfu Island. From here you can marvel at every shade of Ionian Blue, across the Straits of Corfu all the way south to Corfu Town.
Plenty of natural shade and a spacious layout make Taverna Kerasia the ideal leisurely summer-lifestyle eating spot.
Eat and drink while the kids play on the beach, nip into the sparkling waters before settling back into your chair for desert or a Greek cup of coffee.
Kerasia Beach is on the north east coast of Corfu Island and is the only beach that looks directly south across Ionian waters to Corfu Town.
Protected from northerly winds, Kerasia Beach is the ideal location for leisurely family swims and safe private boat moorings.
Adjacent to the peninsula on which the Rothschild Estate is located, Kerasia Beach is one of the closest points to the Albanian coastline.
From here you can admire the beauty of the Straits of Corfu and continue your exploration of Corfu’s famous north east coast.
By boat continues to be, if not the most convenient, certainly the most appropriate way of getting here.
Water Taxi pick up and drop off is available from anywhere between Kassiopi to Barbati. For prices and bookings in advance only, please CONTACT us.
By car you will follow the only road that takes you through San Stefanos all the way down to the beach. There is plenty of parking space for all our guests.
On foot is perhaps the most scenic, especially if you follow the famous footpath along the waterfront that runs from Nissaki all the way to Kerasia.
